In our latest Q&A blog, we meet Dmitry, our new Sales Development Representative who has recently joined our Sales team in Manchester.
Why did you decide to join the team at Duuzra?
I Moved to the UK from Ukraine in June 2022. After 6 months, I wanted to find a company and role that best suits my skillset from my previous life, before the war. I am ambitious and passionate about what I do, and I believe Duuzra is the place where I can achieve all my goals.
Can you describe what your first weeks at Duuzra have been like?
I met with UK team at the office in the first week of January, everyone has been very friendly and supportive. It’s been an adjustment meeting new people and learning a new product, but I already feel like I have worked with the company for much longer.

What motivates you to be the best at your job?
In general, I like to challenge typical thought processes and ideas, to establish connections and friendships with my ICP’s.
An influential person in your life who has made you who you are today and why?
My family inspire me every day, I try to make them proud in Ukraine, with my life and work here.
What’s that one song that puts a smile on your face?
I like listening to rock. I am a fan of Queen, and I would opt for – I want to break free.
One meal that satisfies your soul?
I like Georgian food, so steak with real red wine
Three Famous Dinner Guests to join you for that meal?
As a proud Ukrainian, my dinner guests would be Oleg Gorokhovskyi, Hennadiy Kernes and Mikhail Saakashvili.
What are some of your passions or interests outside of work?
My areas of interests have changed recently, but generally, I am still interested in tourism as a business, Austrian villages in winter, Japanese cars and investments in properties.
